CAN I TRAVEL OUT OF THE COUNTRY WITH MY CHILD?
If your parenting time order is from a Michigan court, it depends.
According to Section 7a of the Michigan Child Custody Act, effective January 2013, both parties are prohibited from exercising parenting time, such as by traveling for vacation, in any country that is not then a party to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, unless both parties give their prior consent in writing to the Court to allow either party or both to travel with the child to or in such a country. Any order that the Court updates after January 2013 must include this prohibition.
When in doubt, ask your lawyer.
